About The SHOUT! AWARDS 2009

The Malaysian entertainment scene has witnessed a great explosion over the past few years - creating opportunities to expand the already established and developing new platforms to fuel the thirst of the independent. Music has never been more innovative and brave. Radio stations have morphed into daring anchors championing new trends and new music styles. Films are exploring new depths in techniques, writing, and human emotion. Television is reaching new realms in drama and entertainment, influential in its ability to create instant celebrities, some going on to be real and credible superstars.

We live in exciting times where the world is just within our reach - our international potential pumped by the stark tunes of bands like Meet Uncle Hussein, Estranged, Pop Shuvit and Hujan; and our global recognition marked by movies such as Sepet and Mukhsin. Just 5 years ago, 8TV hit local TV screens for the first time with an unprecedented 8-hour coverage of a Rock The World concert, and continued on to provide a national audience for our musicians and artists, known and unknown, to explore their creative boundaries through shows like Homegrown and 8TV's Unzipped.

And now, together with other media practitioners with the same mission, Malaysia has truly created a supportive environment for its local entertainment scene.

It is time to highlight the journey of our rising Malaysian talent. The Shout! Awards is created to celebrate this journey with the support of Malaysia’s voice. And we’re going to have fun doing it. The Shout! Awards is a 2.5 hour TV special dedicated to give recognition to those who have made great impact and creative breakthroughs in Malaysian music, film, TV and radio. A first-of-its-kind awards show for these four industries, it aims to reward the most-deserving artists, actors, radio and TV faces, giving voice to all Malaysians to define the new cool.

Spanning 16 categories altogether with a total of 5 nominations in each, all nominations submitted will be determined by a panel of judges consisting of tastemakers and veterans representing the broadcast, music and film industry. Following which, the rest will go into the public’s hands, where they will be called to vote for their favorite personalities online on our website.

Padan la tadi petang jalan kat sekitar bukit Jalil ni jem...

UPSR results

Keputusan yg ditunggu-tunggu..akhirnya tiba.......On 12/11/2008...Semalaman aku tak dapat nak tidur... memikirkan result abang..Aku tengok abang ok aje..relaks aje...mama dia aje yang mengelabah semacam...

On 13/11/2008..aku gi sekolah Abang..ada Hari Penganugerahan...Abang terima award for Ketua Pengawas Pusat Sumber Sekolah...dia dapat award and sijil....dari kul 8am sampai kul 1 pm aku kat sekolah...hari penganugerahan tue tamat kul 10.30 am...then aku, ibu bapa yg lain serta guru-guru..berdebar-debar menunggu keputusan....

Hari Anugerah Kecemerlangan Pelajar SKBK 2008 on 13/11/2008

Gambar ni menarik perhatian ku...bila farah dah besar esok..aku nak suruh dia masuk apa2 pertandingan atau show sekolah..mesti comel nanti.....tengok la ...comel kan!!!

Ini ada tokoh pelajar sekolah SKBK..yg menarik perhatianku..ibunya lumpuh..kesian kan...keputusannya sama wif abang..anyway, she did her very best...she cried when she got the result... sebak gak aku...tapi its not the end of the world...more to come...no worries...aku lupa nama dia..tapi dia nie cantik cam Kajol..

Tengok la...budak-budak lepak menanti keputusan...

Ibu-Bapa pun tak sabar menunggu...

Akhirnya..keputusan yg dinanti-nantikan dah tiba...semua pelajar tahun 6 duduk dlm dewan..sementara menantikan guru memanggil nama utk diserahkan slip result...aku nampak cikgu napsah menangis tak henti-henti..aku sebak...mesti ada yg tak kena nie..betulla jangkaanku..keputusan pelajar-pelajar tidak memberansangkan...cuma ada 4 org pelajar yg mendapat 5A, 19 org pelajar mendapat 4 A 1 B dan selebihnya mendapat 3 A 1 B...

Bila cikgu memanggil nama Abang..aku takut..resah...then lepas dia dpt results..dia smile....then dia tunjuk signal bagus...dia dapat 3 A 1 B...alhamdulillah..walaupun...aku set high target for him..tapi takpe la...mungkin belum rezeki lagi nak dpt yg terbaik...aku menangis.......tapi Abang relaks aje...........

Anyway, alhamdulillah...aku tengok pelajar yg lain..yg dpt keputusan yg tidak memberangsangkan..menangis...kesian aku tengok.........

Abang, it is time for you to speed up your learning...next year nak masuk secondary school...do your very best..to be the best among the best....
